CEBU’s Rheyjey Ortouste, together with the rest of the Philippine sepak takraw team, will be experiencing his third Southeast Asian Games next month in Singapore.
Ortouste, 21, will playing in the doubles event along with Jason Huerte in the hopes of improving their bronze medal finish in the 27th Seagames in Myanmar two years ago.
Ortouste and Huerte recently won a bronze medal in the doubles event (premier division) of the 30th King’s Cup Sepaktakraw World Championship Division 1.
“Para nako wala impossible kay nag focus mi ani na event especially karun nagkadugay nagkakusog mi,” said Ortouste.
Ortouste added that they are very happy with the kind of support that their National Sports Association (NSA) has been extending to their team, which is spearheaded by Noli Noscal.
